Okra Sauerkraut Salad

okra

Ingredients:

1. 10 to 15 fresh okra
2. 3 Table spoon sauerkraut
3. 1 tablespoon flax powder
4. 1 big garlic clove
5. 1 teaspoon chili powder
6. 2 tablespoon peanut powder
7. salt for taste
8. 2 teaspoon olive oil or any other cooking oil
9. 15-20 leaves of fresh oregano

Preparation:

1. Cut okra into small pieces
2. Cut garlic into small pieces or use garlic press
3. Chop oregano into fine pieces
4. Mix all ingredients together
5. Garnish with oregano.

3C Salad (Carrot,Cabbage,Cheese)

3-C salad

Ingredients(Measurements)

1. 5 cubes of Almond cheese
2. 1/2 cabbage
3. 2 carrots
4. Thousand Island Salad dressing
5. 1 small piece of ginger

Preparation

1. Cut cabbage into long thin slices.
2. Cut carrot into long thin slices.
2. Grate carrot.
4. Cut cheese cubes into thin long slices.
4. Mix all ingredients.

Lemony Salad

 
Lemony Salad

Ingredients:
1. One peeled corn
2. 10 small florets of cauliflower
3. A handful of green pea pods
4. 1/4 Tomato
5. 1/2 cucumber
6. A handful of sprouts of your choice
7. A teaspoon of dry-herbs mix
8. A teaspoon salt
9. A teaspoon of asafetida
10. A teaspoon of lemon juice

Preparation:

1. Cut green pea pods, cauliflower florets, tomato into small pieces
2. Cut cucumber into small round pieces or choice of your shape
2. Put all ingredients (except cucumber and tomato) together, add lemon juice, asafetida, salt, herb-mix and mix them well
3. Garnish with tomato and cucumber

Rainbow Salad

Rainbow Salad

Ingredients(Measurements) :

1. 1/3 rd Green Bell Pepper
2. 1/3rd Orange Bell Pepper
3. 1/3rd Yellow Bell Pepper
4. Handful of Moon Sprouts
5. 1 Bunch of Dill
6. 6-7 Romain Hearts Leaves
7. 1/4 th of a tomato
8. 10 small cubes of Almond cheese
9. 10 small florets of Cauliflower
10. 10 Bread croutons
11. Your favorite salad dressing ( I like Thousand Island dressing)

Preparation:

1. Cut bell peppers,tomato,romaine hearts into big pieces.
2. Chop dill finely.
3. Mix all ingredients with salad dressing.
4. Garnish with croutons.

Royal Swiss Salad

Ingredients(Measurements):
1. 1/2 bunch dill leaves
2. 5-6 Leaves of romaine lettuce
3. 1 Medium size potato
4. 1 big Portabellas mushroom
5. 5-6 Sun Dried Tomatos
6. 10-15 Roasted Peanuts
7. Black Olives
8. A handful of spinach leaves
9. A tablespoon olive oil
10. Salt

Preparation:

1. Cut potato and mushrooms in medium size and steam them for 10 min
2. Chop dill leaves, lettuce, tomatoes
3. Put all ingredients together, add oil and salt and mix them well

Lemonade Beet Tarragon

Ingredients(Measurements)

1 Beet
3 teaspoons of chopped Tarragon
3 table spoons of lemonade

Procedure

Cut the beet into 1/2″ pieces
Pour lemonade in a bowl
Add 1/4th teaspoon of olive oil
Add chopped tarragon and beet pieces
Refrigerate for 1/2 hour
Serve chilled.

FenuGreek (Methi) Sprout Salad

Let Methi/FenuGreek seeds sprout to 2 inches.

Methi seeds are bitter, but Methi sprouts are sweet.

Take 2 cups of these sprouts.

Peel one carrot with a peeler and cut the long pieces into 2 inch pieces.

Add 1 sweet corns’ seeds.

Add a little pepper , olive oil.

AsparaGus-Tofu salad

This is QUICK and YUMMY !!!

Cut 12 asparagus stems into 1 inch pieces.

Cut tofu into 25 1 inch cubes.

Steam them together for 7 mins

Add olive oil,pepper,salt,lemon juice.

Eat with warm bagel/bread

Rice Salad

1 cup cooked brown rice.

2 big lettuce leaves,5 red cabbage leaves. 1/2 avocade mashed.

1 teaspoon raw walnut pieces.Tuscan salad dressing, 1 teaspoon.

Cut cabbage and lettuce to medium size pieces.

Mix all and savour with a spoon.

 serves one.

Cooking brown rice:

soak brown rice in cold water for an hour.Rinse before and after soaking.

Steam it for 30-45 minutes by adding 1.5 times  water.

Carrot Broccoli Salad

carrot – one

brocolli – 6 heads

grate in a chopper.

dressing -

tuscan italian salad dressing

or

following – home made dressing

mustar seeds (rai) – 1 teaspoon

grind in a grinding stone for better taste or in a mixer, adding some drops of water.

add oil,salt,turmeric powder,chilli powder/paprika powder as per taste.
